Fantastic read, i only wish i'd read the book before seeing the movie, it's impossible not to have scenes from the film in your head whilst reading but that doesn't matter.
"The Princess Bride" is a book within a narrative within a book. It's partly the story of how William Goldman tried to bond with his 10 year old son. It's partly the story of how William Goldman himself learnt to appreciate reading as a result of his father reading him Morgenstern's classic story "The Princess Bride". And it's partly the story of the Princess Bride herself.
The characters are great, i preferred the supporting characters of Inigo and Fezzik to Westley and Buttercup, i loved how Goldman presented the story with his "notes".
Highly quotable and highly recommendable, to not like it seems Inconceivable!
